Drum N Bass/ Jungle Feat Allstar Cast Of Guests – Loaded with the likes of Rag N Bone Man, Flowdan, Popcaan, Idris Elba, Charlotte Plank, Riko Dan, Liam Bailey, Peter Xan and many others, Rudimental may have gone from a four piece to a trio since their last album but they’re still rolling super deep with talented peers and contemporaries on this fifth studio album Rudim3ntal. Every bit as catchy, fun and addictive as their previous LPs, there’s definitely a revitalised edge to the band as they keep things very d&b focused and run through so many styles and flavours. Highlights include the savage chops and sultry tones of ‘Stamina’ (with Venbee) the gospel-level wallop of ‘The Feeling’ (with 1991, PNAU and AR/CO) and the amazing proper soul finale with Liv Campbell – ‘Thank You’. Very well executed.
