Goodbye and Good Riddance is the debut studio album by Americanrapper Juice WRLD. The album features a sole guest appearance from LilUzi Vert and production from Benny Blanco, Cardo, Mitch Mula, Nick Miraand Sidepce, among others. Like hearing a stranger overshare on the bus,it’s impossible to ignore Juice WRLD’s laments. On his major-labeldebut, the Chicago rapper processes a nasty breakup by plunging into thedepths of his grief and regret. Much like the late Lil Peep, he usesemo and trap as primary tools, with blown-out, sing-song Auto-Tunevocals accompanied by depth-charge beats and spare guitar. He lashes outon tracks like All Girls Are the Same and Lucid Dreams(“I was tangled up in your drastic ways / Who knew evil girls have theprettiest face?”) until he numbs the pain with intoxicants and darknihilism (Candles, Hurt Me).
