2004 Synth Pop / Rock LP Repressed On 2×12″ Vinyl – English new wave legends Duran Duran put out their 11th studio album back in 2004. It was a huge success commercially and reached the heights of number three in the UK Albums Chart, making it their best performing for decade. The record was written in the south of France with Nile Rodgers taking care of some of the preliminary production work. Each tunes glows with bright synth energy and songs like ‘Sunrise’, ‘Still Breathing’, ‘Virus’ and ‘Beautiful Colours’ were all hugely popular on the tour the band was on at the time.
Astronaut was the eleventh studio album by Duran Duran. Originally released on September 28, 2004, it was Duran Duran’s first full album since Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) to be recorded by the most famous five-member lineup of the band.
