In 2005, Telstar titled a musical telling the Joe Meek story, a film of the same name premiering in 2009. The original Tornados, minus Caddy, had briefly re-formed in 1975 to re-cut their greatest hit, but admitted they could not recapture the Meek magic. You, however, have this wonderfully evocative slice of Sixties instrumental music from the masters of the genre to enjoy again and again and if that wasn’t enough, it’s on premium quality vinyl, as intended.
